We’ve seen a lot of perler beadcraft inspired by video games — beads just make such excellent sprites — but Flickr artist elialaimo has taken the idea to the next level. This is Super Smash Bros redone with an 8-bit flair, but only the sprites are beads. The background is painted. The blend of the two art styles results in a whole new take on sprite art. Fabulous!
